Victor did my Ikea kitchen installation in 2012 and did a fantastic job. He pays attention to details and did everything I asked him to, giving me a more custom kitchen on a budget. I'd highly recommend him!

When I was finally ready to redo my circa 1996 kitchen in my small condo, I had a design in mind and I knew I wanted an IKEA kitchen. I contacted a couple of remodeling companies and they either did not want to use IKEA cabinets or they did not see my vision. One day I was online reading a blogger's IKEA kitchen design and the she mentioned that she used Victor Marti to do the install. I gave him a call and he spoke of what he did as not a job but a passion that he has always had. He came out and he got where I wanted to go with my kitchen and we talked about how to make that happen. I went with my instinct and chose Victor for the job and that was the right decision.
I did spend the $199 to have IKEA come out and design my cabinet layout. Victor reviewed the design and he saw a couple of things that were a little off and some areas he could tweak the design for a more high-end custom finish. This is the passion that continued throughout the whole project. The communication was great and he worked with me when I incorporated a couple of changes, such as a custom slide out vent I found. He had not worked with this particular vent before, but no problem! He even customized the cover to keep the sleek line of my cabinets.
Victor did most of the renovation. He did the demolition to raise a couple of soffits, lower a bar height opening to counter level to open up the space, and removed a closet and used that space for the refrigerator. He installed the IKEA cabinets and the backsplash. He did all of the renovation except for the countertops.
I do have to compliment him on his integrity, even when it is not his work. When he was ready to start the backsplash, he noticed that the countertop people polished the wrong edge on a section of the counter and installed it backwards. This is something that I did not notice this when they installed it. When he pointed it out, I could see how the front of the countertop had a curve that was scribed to be installed against the wall, and where there was gap by the wall that they filled in with caulking. He could have just installed the backsplash to keep on schedule, but instead, he helped me resolve this with the countertop company, even though it delayed him for several days. He really saved the look of my kitchen!
As for his work...
He showed up every single day right on time (earlier if the building would have allowed)! He worked every minute until he was done for the day. His work environment was always very neat and clean and he never left a mess (even vacuuming every day). He was careful with all of the materials from demolition through to the end.
The end result is that he took the idea that I had in my head and materialized it into the exact kitchen that I had pictured. We made the very, very most we could make of a small galley kitchen, even doubling my counter and storage space! I can honestly say that there is not one thing that I would change or would have done differently. How often can you say that?
I will definitely use him for some other projects in my condo and I would recommend him to anyone who wants quality work done with a passion!

Victor is an amazing craftsman. He rebuilt our second floor after it was destroyed from a fallen tree. He also transformed our basement into an inlaw suite and has done countless other jobs around our home. He is reliable and so helpful in solving design decisions. I highly recommend New Concepts

My kitchen was in desperate need of remodeling and I needed a contractor who was experienced with all facets of a total kitchen remodel. I got three estimates and Mr. Marti's included everything I asked for at very comparable market rates. He really listened to my ideas and provided some outstanding suggestions like the air switch and the schluter strip for my backsplash. Victor came in on a Monday at 630am and went straight to work gutting my 12x12 sq ft kitchen from top to bottom, floors, cabinets, plumbing, etc, in the first day. He continued the install addressing plumbing, electrical wiring,, drywall, under cabinet lighting, and moved the gas line and installed a heavy subway tile on the wall behind the range hood. Mr. Marti is very experienced, dependable and is a great communicator. He would always check to ensure I was pleased with each step of the project before proceeding to the next item. His attention to detail ensured deco and base molding were precise. Victor ensured the area was swept and clean of all debris before leaving for the day. His work ethic is impeccable. We are so pleased with the outcome of our new kitchen and the exceptional work Mr. Marti, New Concepts Construction put into our project. We will be using his expertise on future projects.

Victor can do it all, he's a "jack of all trades". He's dependable, shows up early ready to work. I really appreciated the communication that he had with me, you're informed throughout the process. Victor replaced the glass that was broken in my window, repaired my stairway lending to my front door, made some cosmetic repairs to the interior of my home, and he installed security doors and burglary bars to my home. Victor is very careful while he's working, and he makes it a priority not to make a mess! I would highly recommend Victor for any project you have, it doesn't matter, GIVE HIM A CALL FIRST! And, you'll see what I'm taking about.
